This is the kind of gift I’d like for my birthday!

What we have here is 3 nicely designed 12oz pilsner glasses – each with an Elvis image, 22K gold rim and facsimile gold signature.

Each glass features a unique image – Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock and It’s Now or Never,

This set is the first in a four part series, each featuring different images. The final set will ship with a wooden shelf to house them.

Why Oh Why?

Well, they say there’s no accounting for taste – but for me, this is an abomination.

It just looks and feels like cheap attempt to cash in on Elvis.

Apparently they’re “handcrafted of artist’s resin and skilfully hand-painted”. And “strong demand is expected…you won’t want to miss out”.

Maybe I’m being a bit snooty, but I’ll pass on this one.

Elvis Cuckoo Clock

To be honest, I’m afraid a gaudy Elvis cuckoo clock is not quite my cup of tea.

I can imagine this being fun for the first few days you have it. Every hour out pops Elvis to sing a clip from either Hound Dog, Don’t Be Cruel, Blue Suede Shoes or Jailhouse Rock.

But hour after hour, day after day?

I can only repeat the words of magician Michael Close in one of his first product reviews for Magic magazine:

“If you like this kind of thing, then this is the kind of thing you’ll like.”

Exactly.
